Called in a few days ago to look at a microcamper Dragonville had in stock. Darren R showed me around & also gave me a couple of alternatives (similar price range). The service I received was 5 star! the premises are clean, the reception welcoming & the product & aftercare package seem totally genuine. In addition, the price Darren was going to give me for my car in part exchange was exactly the figure I had in my head! from experience it is usually at least 25% less.

Darren was lovely & friendly, knowledgeable, honest & not at all pushy (also not patronising which can sometimes happen as a female car shopping!).

Unfortunately I didn’t end up buying the camper as our circumstances changed, however I would not hesitate to recommend Dragonville & they will be my first stop in future - infact I’ve even saved them to my ‘contacts’!

I cant praise the Dragonville team enough, agreed with Darren for them to sell my Elgrand on a sale or return basis. From when I dropped the camper off to when it was sold (which was very quick) the communication was excellent and they made the whole process really smooth, they even run me back to the station to catch my train back to London.

Lovely company and lovely people to deal with, love 'em to bits. I looked on line and saw a CamperVan I fancied, a 2006 VW T5 Reimo conversion. A friend had bought from Darren (the proprietor and before the move to Mareham Le Fen) and he came highly recommended so I bought. It came with the promised Habitation Check, complete with signed sheet. Once home, and on close inspection I found that the fire extinguisher was SIXTEEN YEARS past its 'replace before' date! To be fair Darren #2 (the salesman) had a new fire extinguisher couriered to my home the following day. Thank you Darren. The curtains were abysmal, held up by bulldog paper clips and bent wire. They didn't meet up and had an inch gap at the top to see out, or in, and would pull away .... I knew they weren't of any use whatsoever, and had budgeted for them, but come on fellas spoiling a £21k CamperVan for the sake of 200 quids worth of curtains .... doh! On checking the gas bottle .... now Darren #2 had said in the sales pitch that all 'vans go out with a gas bottle with some gas in it'. Yes, I know it's difficult to assess just how much gas .... but the gas bottle in the locker was empty and not fit for purpose It was so rusty that no words or safety warnings were visible or readable. It was dented and had clearly come from a scrap site. (I have a photograph) and not fit for purpose. I've only taken it to one outlet to replace/refill, but they refused to do do. I too have scrapped it.

Very helpful at Dragonville .... re the curtains and gas bottle "Pop in if you're passing' and we'll see what we can do. Sorry I won't be passing I'm afraid, it's a c150 mile round trip for me .... for something that should have been done before sale.

Thanks for the review. Sorry the date on fire extinguisher was missed during our in-house hab check, yes that's correct we ordered one same day and you got it the next day sorry about that. Regarding the gas bottle and curtains as you are only 62 miles away from us we offered to assist you and did say just to call in and we would look after you with a different gas bottle (you could take your pick) and also take a look at the curtains to see what we could do for you. The curtains were custom made and fitted by a previous owner (as seen in the photo) and we are sorry that you weren't happy with them. Had you mentioned at point of sale or handover that you weren't happy with the curtains then of course we would have sorted something out for you 😎

Our previous offer does not have a 'Best Before Date' and you are welcome to call in anytime Mon-Fri for a coffee and our workshop staff can assist you with curtains and/or gas bottle 👍🏻.

Dear All,

Just writing to say a huge thank you for all your help in making my purchase of the Toyota Hiace such a pleasure.

I have safely returned home after a 250 mile adventure around Lincolnshire and the Yorkshire Dales.

All your attention to preparing the vehicle, cleaning, MOT, and working through the snagging list were much appreciated.

Collecting me from the station and providing cups of coffee also helped! Not to mention washing the curtains - an excellent finishing touch :-)

If you could identify what colour white the paint shop used to repair the rear nearside corner, I would be pleased to know .. or even have some!

Just for your information, I checked the tyre pressures this afternoon - the new front nearside was over 50PSI, the other three were 30PSI .. and the spare had 7! I am trying 36PSI.

The BFG (Big Friendly Giant!) (S629 BFG), is in amazing condition for her age and I shall do everything I can to maintain her originality. A great testament to the care of her 6 former owners.

May I say that your work of re-vitalising older vans at reasonable prices, is extremely worthwhile and, I'm sure, appreciated by many.

I hope you will all be blessed with good health to continue your fruitful work .. I'm off now to plan my next voyage of discovery - thinking, doing, remembering - all great fun! :-)

Buying a vehicle unseen and to be delivered from 200 miles away from any online site could have been quite worrying except for Dragonville Leisure. Their salesman Darren was amazing. Every call, email and text answered in quick time. Even when, like most dealers, he said it has been owned by a 'Lady Vicar' it turned out to be true! I would recommend this genuine, honest fellow and his great vehicles to anyone. His passion for 'getting it right' for each client is evident from his conversations - he really cares that you get the van that suits you as an individual and that it fulfils your particular requirements. Indeed my lovely campervan is admired by all who see her. A great company with rare and admirable ethics.

Have bought two vans from Dragonville over the past 5 years and they have sold one of them recently for me as well. Nothing is ever an issue and when I had a problem they paid for me to have it fixed locally as I'm almost 200 miles away from them. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again in the future.

Darren is a genuine, down to earth guy, working hard to make an honest living. Not at any point did we feel pressured into buying our new campervan, we were left to look around the vehicle at our leisure and Darren answered all the questions we asked of him. The sale/transaction went through very smoothly and professionally. It took just over a week for them to prepare the vehicle for us. It came with a full MOT and Paul (the mechanic) did a great job of finishing off a few bits & bobs like some cupboard lining, wiring up the electric seat and water pump etc. None of which we'd asked to be done, they just did it and made sure everything was pefect for us! Darren even happily delivered the vehicle to our house, talked us through everything before signing over the vehicle to us before finally taking payment for the balance! Best place to find your campervan.

Darren has been absolutely outstanding from start to finish. I trusted him with my camper, and he handled the entire process with real professionalism. Communication was brilliant throughout — clear, prompt, and always keeping me updated at every stage.He took all the stress out of selling, dealt with everything smoothly, and achieved a great result. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing a good job and looking after his customers.Highly recommended — if you’re looking for someone reliable, straight-talking, and professional to sell your vehicle, Darren is definitely your man.

We recently travelled to Dragonville Leisure not knowing what we really wanted. The welcome and hospitality we received from Darren W and Jo was outstanding. We toured the forecourt with no pressure but Darren was on hand and answered all our queries. Service records and paperwork was on hand to view on vehicles we liked. However we could not decide ! Darren then told us of vehicles purchased and coming in. We returned the following week to the same welcome. After no pressure whatsoever and genuine help we bought a Mazda Bongo. The whole sales process was faultless from start to finish and probably the best vehicle purchasing process we have had over many years. We had extras fitted to the vehicle at competitive prices and all completed at speed. We have had a minor issue which Darren sorted immediately without fuss. There is a fine balance in vehicle sales and Darren and Dragonville have got it absolutely right. We would thoroughly recommend Dragonville to one and all. Buying our first camper from Darren was an absolute pleasure. We were working with a tight budget and had come across several disappointing examples before discovering his.

When we spotted a Mercedes Vito at the new showroom site, we were immediately interested. Darren was welcoming, provided guidance when needed, and then gave us space to discuss the camper’s suitability and inspect it thoroughly. We also took it for a test drive. The vehicle was exactly as advertised—clean, well-presented, and in great condition considering its age and expected wear.

Once we decided to go ahead, Darren arranged for an MOT and full inspection. He wasn’t satisfied with a few items, so he proactively replaced them with new parts before handing it over. That extra care and attention made all the difference.

We’ve already enjoyed a couple of fantastic weekend trips and are really happy with our purchase. I’m sure we’ll be seeing Darren again in the future when we’re ready to upgrade to a motorhome or a different camper.

It truly was 5 star experience from buying to delivery to final purchase. This is my first campervan and Darren could not have been more helpful. I felt he was open and honest with his advice and information and there was no 'hard sell'. He left me alone to look around but was nearby to answer all my questions. I live in South Yorkshire but the van was delivered to me and Darren went through everything with me and did not leave until I was happy and confident I had all the information I needed. Dragonville went the extra mile and dealt with some minor cosmetic issues and wanted me to be sure I was making the right purchase. Darren went up and above to bring our new campervan on the boat personally to Guernsey!
